In 2020, CAUSE launched a historic initiative to partner with Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) and Los Angeles Urban League (LAUL), in consultation with the Los Angeles Times. The partnership’s unprecedented multiethnic statewide community poll series provides data-driven insight into California’s most prominent ethnic communities. The goal of the initiative is to bring diverse communities together for a series of public, cross-cultural dialogues that increase understanding and collaboration among communities of color.
HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP WITH
Cross-Cultural Dialogue Series
The Cross-Cultural Dialogue Series allowed for a deeper dive into each poll’s results. Conversations focused around moving forward in the fight against racism in today’s world, with CAUSE bringing an Asian and Pacific Islander voice to conversations for a diverse range of audiences.
Building Bridges
with The Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles
Alongside HOPE and LA Urban League, CAUSE partners with the Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles and the Jewish Center for Justice for a monthly discussion series addressing current issues and how California’s diverse communities are affected by them. This monthly program provided a dependable space to gather and share relevant insight from our respective communities. The conversations spark important dialogues around race, criminal justice, antisemitism, elections, and much more.
