Los Angeles, CA – Over the past month, CAUSE held two voter education workshops: the first in Chinatown at the Chinese Americans Citizens Alliance (CACA) lodge and the second in Koreatown at the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA).
The first Voter Education Workshop was held in partnership with the Chinese Americans Citizens Alliance (CACA) at their lodge located in Chinatown. The workshop was conducted by Charlie Woo, Board Chair of CAUSE.
The second Voter Education Workshop was held in partnership with the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA). The workshop was led by Charlie Woo, Board Chair of CAUSE, with a simultaneous Korean translation provided by Steve Kang.
Both workshops featured court-certified in-language presentations (Chinese for the former and Korean for the latter) to ensure language accessibility in both communities. The presentations are available in Chinese and Korean. Attendees were also able to participate in an opportunity drawing featuring a range of prizes, including Southwest domestic airline tickets. Workshop participants were also able to register to vote and assisted in the process.
