Los Angeles, CA -- On Wednesday, February 9th, CAUSE held the second pod meeting of the 2022 CAUSE Leadership Institute virtually. Pod meetings are a newly developed component of the program that focuses on building community among the cohort and deepening conversations.
Chirag Menon, Principal with Third Settlements, guest facilitated this week’s pod meeting focused on storytelling. Through interactive activities and conversations, CLI fellows reflected on their background and history, how these shaped their civic engagement journey, how they would like to make an impact in their communities, as well as providing a framework to tell this personal story.
QUOTES:
“Collective storytelling and reflecting is a powerful way of thinking about community, belonging, and identity.”
