SESSION #1: Introduction

Los Angeles, CA -- On Wednesday, January 19th, CAUSE virtually hosted the kick-off session of the 2022 CAUSE Leadership Institute.

Session 1 welcomed and oriented fellows to the program. During the session, fellows had the opportunity to meet each other, get to know online program tools, as well as review the program objectives. Fellows were introduced to a civic engagement framework and participated in activities to explore and share their perspectives and experiences.

QUOTES:

“I never really stopped to think about what the term "civic engagement" meant and didn't realize I participate in it almost daily.”
