Most California residents are eligible—no prior government experience needed

Most boards require applicants to be at least 18, but some positions accept youth as young as 14

CAUSE partnered with the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom and @expositionparkla on March 27 to host a State Boards and Commissions Appointments Workshop—an event focused on increasing community representation in state leadership.
